Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a doctor. I always took on the nurturing and caring role, and always enjoyed the sciences. The specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology has given me the opportunity to care for women from adolescence onward. I am Michigan homegrown. I graduated high school from Southfield-Lathrup in 1992. I went on to receive my Bachelors of Science from Wayne State University in 1995. I immediately went on to medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine and graduated in 1999. I went on and completed my residency in Ob/Gyn at Henry Ford Health Systems in 2003.I served as Chief Resident in my senior year. After residency, I worked as an employed physician until I decided to go out on my own and establish my own practice, which brings me to where we are today. I am Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and am a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. I strive to provide personal, one-on-one care to my patients. I practice general Ob/Gyn and have access to specialists when needed. I also enjoy teaching, so on occasion, you may encounter students or residents accompanying me. On a personal note, I am married and have three wonderful children. So when I am not working, I spend time doing family activities as I am fortunate to have a large extended family as well.
